Pittsfield shooting suspect arrested in Colonie

COLONIE, N.Y. -- Colonie police have arrested a fugitive from Massachusetts who was wanted in connection with a shooting in Pittsfield over the weekend.
Christopher Davis, 26, of Pittsfield was located at the Hampton Inn on Ulenski Drive Monday night.
An arrest warrant was issued by Pittsfield police after a fight outside 458 Fenn Street early Sunday morning. Police said Davis fired a gun during the altercation. No one was hit, but two nearby cars were damaged.
Davis faces charges of assault by means of a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, possession of a firearm without a license, and possession of ammunition without a permit. He was arraigned in Colonie and sent to Albany County Jail without bail pending extradition proceedings.
Kyleanne Winters, 27, of Hinsdale was also taken into custody for providing Davis with transportation after the incident. She is charged with third-degree hindering prosecution and was released on her own recognizance.
