The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is holding a "Hike for Hope" this weekend on Prospect Mountain in Lake George. Organizers and officials will also be presenting the first-ever "Heroes for Hope" award to a couple for their commitment to reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide.
