SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Jury selection will be put on hold Tuesday in the trial of James Wells.

Wells is accused of killing 15-year-old Eddie Stanley in Schenectady back in June of 2011. Prosecutors say the two got into a fight during which Wells fatally shot Stanley. He was arrested a month after the shooting.

The judge will not be at the courthouse Tuesday, meaning opening statements are not likely to happen until Thursday at the earliest.

Once the trial begins, it's expected to last for three to four weeks.
