WOODSTOCK, N.Y. -- Just days into his new gig at Radio Woodstock, "Wakin up with the Wolf" is off the air.

Radio show host Bob Wolf started his new show at Radio Woodstock 100.1 last Monday. After about a week on the job, both Wolf and the radio station posted on Facebook Thursday night the show was not going to continue.

Here's what WDST posted to their page: "Thank you so much for your feedback about our new morning show with the Wolf. We decided that we need to listen to all of you, so we have officially ended Wakin' Up with the Wolf."

Wolf also posted the news to his fans on Facebook, saying "I am no longer with WDST. I love the people there and the station but Gary, the station owner, and I both agreed I was not a good fit. My style of humor and the things I do best were not going to work with what WDST is known for."

Wolf went on to say the parting was friendly and he hopes to work on some other projects with them in the future. He said he would post more information on what his next move will be soon.

Wolf was previously a morning show host in Albany on WPYX, but the show was canceled last February.
