RENSSELAER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Rensselaer County grand jury has indicted a Troy man on multiple counts of rape.

Officials say Louis Perrott, 59, repeatedly raped a 13-year-old girl at an apartment in Troy. They say he knew the victim and the incidents date back to this past August.

Perrott faces two felony counts of second degree rape, as well as two felony counts of second degree criminal sexual act. Perrott also faces two misdemeanors charges, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the District Attorney, Perrott has no previous criminal record.

If convicted of all charges, Perrott could face up to 30 years in prison.
