Teen charged with DWI in fatal crash
LIVINGSTON, N.Y. -- A 21-year-old man is dead following a car accident in the town of Livingston. State police say it happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Police say Thomas Griffin, 19, drove off the road and struck a utility pole. The passenger, Max Kelly of Germantown, had to be extricated from the vehicle and was brought to Albany Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Griffin is being charged with DWI and second degree vehicular assault. Further charges are expected.
