COLONIE, N.Y. -- Police arrested a Troy woman they say left her two small children in a car while she was shoplifting at the mall.

Police were called to Macy's at Colonie Center for a reported shoplifter around 4 p.m. Sunday. They say Audrea Saunders, 25, left her three-week-old baby and a three-year-old child in the parked car for more than an hour.

Saunders was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and petit larceny. She was taken to Albany County Jail, with bail set at $5,000.
