Albany man arraigned on attempted murder charge for shooting

ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man was arraigned on several felony charges in connection with a shooting on Second Avenue back in November.
According to the indictment, Ryan Gunn, 26, and a neighbor were arguing on Nov. 12 when Gunn allegedly went back to his home, retrieved a gun, and shot the neighbor in the shoulder. The victim was treat for non-life threatening injuries.
Albany police said Gunn was identified as the suspect and located by US Marshals in Georgia where he was taken into custody. He was indicted by a grand jury on Dec. 5 and brought back to Albany on Thursday.
Gunn is charged with second-degree attempted murder, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of first-degree criminal use of a firearm, one count of first-degree attempted assault, and one count of second-degree assault. He faces up to 25 years in prison.
Gunn was jailed without bail.
