STUYVESANT, N.Y. -- The U.S. Coast Guard establishes a safety zone around the large oil tanker ship that got stuck on the Hudson River. It happened 10 miles south of the Port of Albany around 9 a.m. Thursday.

The tanker, which was carrying barrels of crude oil, ran aground, puncturing the ship's surface and causing water to get in.

The 600-foot ship is now anchored near Stuyvesant.

There were with no reports of injuries or an oil spill.

It is unclear when the ship will resume its trip.
