ALBANY, N.Y. -- An off duty New York State Trooper was arrested after police say he crashed his own car while driving drunk.

State Police say Gregory Bennett, 39, crashed his personal car on I-90 westbound at the Exit 3 off ramp in Albany. They say it happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Bennett suffered minor facial injuries. He is a 13 year member of the New York State Police.

Bennett was arrested for DWI and suspended without pay.
