Mohawk Ambulance Service holding food drive
CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- The Mohawk Ambulance Service is hosting its annual food drive Sunday. Their goal is to pack two ambulances full of non perishable food for the Regional Food Bank.
They will be at two locations on Sunday. The first is at the Glenville Price Chopper on Route 50 in Scotia and the second is at the Rotterdam Price Chopper on Altamont Avenue.
The ambulances will be parked in front of the supermarkets from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday.
Organizers say in the last three years, they've delivered more than 5,800 pounds of food.
