UNITED STATES -- Just in time for what's predicted to be a busy holiday season on the road, gas prices are dropping. According to AAA, prices fell seven cents nationally during the past week to an average of $3.30 per gallon.

Here in New York, we're still above the national average, but prices are falling. The cost for a gallon of regular unleaded is down nearly six cent since last week, averaging around $3.78.

In the Capital Region, we're seeing prices around $3.65, also down about six cents. And people in Pittsfield are seeing prices around $3.45. That's down more than 10 cents from last week.
