ALBANY, N.Y. -- We're learning more about the three Peter Young non-profit facilities that were searched by the FBI on Wednesday.

Young, an Albany priest, is widely known in the Capital Region for his work with drug rehabilitation programs and the needy.

Sources close to Attorney General Eric Schneiderman say Dennis Basset, the former COO of Young's foundation, stole a significant amount of money from the organization. Those sources say Basset will be arraigned next week in Rensselaer County.

Young contacted the state about the theft two years ago, and his attorney said financial documents were seized in Wednesday's search.

The FBI and the AG's office searched the foundation's Albany, Menands, and Schenectady locations.

Young is recovering from hip surgery and was not available for comment.
