SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A hospital dedicated to taking care of women and babies gets a new addition.

The new space at Bellevue Woman's Center includes the "Neil and Jane Golub Breast and Heart Health Center." The center will provide mammograms, ultrasounds and bone density screenings.

The Golubs says prevention is key.

Executive Board Chairman Neil Golub said, "It is all about prevention. Ninety percent of cardiovascular disease is preventable. Women as a group are the most under diagnosed group. We have to make sure women understand what their backgrounds are, what their numbers are, their blood pressure and all things important to good cardiovascular health."

Construction on the new patient care center is scheduled to be complete in September 2013.
