Woman arrested on burglary charges after traffic stop
COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A traffic stop in Columbia County ended with sheriff's deputies seizing more than $14,000 worth of property and they believe that property was stolen. It happened Wednesday on Healy Boulevard in Greenport.
Kendra Vanslyke, 26, of Hudson, has been charged with felony burglary and grand larceny. Police say she stole jewelry and silverware from a house in Kinderhook and that the items were in the car when she was pulled over.
Vanslyke was remanded to the County Jail without bail and will be back in court next week.
