SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A 14-year-old is in critical condition after being beaten in Schenectady.

Police say it happened near Congress and 6th Ave. in the city on Sunday morning.

Officers say the victim, whose name is not being released at this time, was beat with a blunt object by at least two men.

The victim is in a medically induced coma in Albany Medical Center.

No arrests have been made in this case, but police are interviewing witnesses.
