ALBANY, N.Y. -- The owners of a brewery are taking the next step in their proposal to move their business into St. Joseph's Church in Albany.
YNN spoke with Brennon Cleary, the co-owner of Raven's Head Brewing LLC. Cleary says they've applied for a variance to the city's Board of Zoning Appeals.
When the owners previously brought up the proposal to move into St. Joseph's, the idea was met with strong opposition by the church's neighbors. Ten Broeck residents were concerned the brewery would lower the quality of life.
The Historic Albany Foundation owns the church and supports the building being used.
