Convicted murderer sentenced on new murder charge
DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Hudson Valley man already serving time on a murder conviction was sentenced to 25 years in state prison for another murder.
Robert Loucks was sentenced in Dutchess County Court for the murder of 63-year-old Robert Briceno of Poughkeepsie back in August of 2010.
Loucks was sentenced earlier this year to 20 years to life in state prison after pleading guilty to the 2010 strangulation death of his girlfriend, Tyrese Storms.
The two sentences will run consecutively.
