MASSACHUSETTS -- Democratic Senator-elect Elizabeth Warren is meeting with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick as she prepares for her new job in Washington. Warren and Patrick are scheduled to meet today at the governor's office.

Warren defeated Republican Senator Scott Brown on Tuesday. She becomes the first woman to represent the Bay State in the US Senate.
