It's time once again to recognize our Kid of the Week and this week the honor goes to 9-year-old Jacob Leavenworth of Schenectady.
Jacob organized a food drive at his elementary school to help earthquake victims in Haiti. He planned and organized the food drive and asked his fellow schoolmates to pitch in.
Jacob collected donations for two weeks and sent them to a collection center for earthquake victims.
So congratulations Jacob, you are this week's Kid of the Week.
