One of the most impressive exhibits in the New York State Museum is the Civil War exhibition 'An Irrepressible Conflict: The Empire State in the Civil War'. Plan to spend a good part of your museum day here. There is a lot to take in. New York State's connection to the Civil War was extensive and it may surprise you.

The Civil war Exhibit is here until September 22, 2013, so now is the time to check it out!

New York State Museum is fully accessible, open Tuesday-Sunday 9:30am to 5pm. Free admission! Parking on both side of the museum off Madison Ave. Free after 2pm!
