I’ve been hosting the Cooking at Home segments on Time Warner Cable for just about exactly eight years. And, at this point, I’m quickly approaching the 3,000 segment mark. All I can say is wow, that’s a lot of dishes!
Last week I introduced a new segment called “Healthy at Home” that will air on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the same time slots as Cooking at Home.
The idea behind Healthy at Home is that it’ll be the same quick and easy recipes you’re used to seeing on Cooking at Home but even more focused on being good for you.
I feel really good about the overall healthy aspect of the recipes I’ve been creating all along but, from now on, this means you won’t see any recipes with bacon or butter or cream...or anything like that...on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Just simple, healthy and delicious meals based on whole grains, vegetables, lean meats and low fat and low sodium products, meals you’ll feel extra good about making in your own kitchen for your whole family.
I hope you’ll continue to join me for Healthy at Home every Tuesday and Thursday on YNN.
